Aurora

Aurora Aksnes born 15th June 1996 Stavanger is a Norwegian music writer and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves has been released by Decca Records and was well received by music blogs. Half the World Away, by the Oasis band, was released for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole are just two of her best-known songs. Katy Perry shared a tweet that Perry promoted her song Runaway. Make it a day to celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was discovering a piano in her loft and being amazed by the music. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes encouraged her to learn music, not as a job or a hobby however, as a chance to grow. For this reason she wrote her first original compositions. Her influences include renowned writer Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan and her love of Bjork's style. Her mother had told her the songs she composed were not meant to be famous for her, however, but to encourage people to realize their own value and impact to this world, she started performing them publicly. When she was six She began playing the piano, and when she was nine was writing music. The fact that she was a musician wasn't known by her family until she reached the age of fourteen. There was no way she could have imagined to turn into Aurora. Aurora claims she loves composing songs. For her music, it is the most effective means of communicating anything.
